NEBOSH qualifications in health and safety are recognised worldwide by employers in all industry sectors, making the Certificate an ideal introduction for those intending to develop a career in health and safety. The qualification is divided into 3 units, each of which is assessed separately:
NEBOSH National General Certificate is accredited at Level 3. Successful completion of the Certificate with five years health and safety experience provides candidates with eligibility to apply for TechIOSH (Technician membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health). To qualify for the National Certificate, delegates must pass both written examinations, and the practical test, which involves a site inspection and compilation of a report. A NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health is awarded to all those who attend the course and successfully complete the written and practical assessments.
