“FR Aviation Ltd is a Company that takes its safety responsibilities seriously. We have used oasys Training & Safety Services Ltd as our preferred health and safety trainer for the past five years. Because of the relationship built up over this period, it is our intention to continue with this policy.
oasys trainers demonstrate a high level of expertise coupled with an ability to identify well with our staff. Their tuition proves to be extremely popular with our staff; they report that the difficult subject of health and safety has been delivered in an enlightening and enjoyable way.
We have always found oasys to be a professional and well organized training provider”.
John Young, Safety Advisor, FR Aviation Ltd., Bournemouth International Airport.
Due to the destruction of the petro-chemical Industry in Saudi Arabia following the first Gulf War, on behalf of RoSPA, David produced a five-day training programme for petro-chemical engineers concerning Emergency Planning, Risk Assessment, Hazard and Operability Studies. Having manufactured and marketed the product, he personally delivered the programme in the industrial city of El Jabail.
He has vast experience in the development and maintenance of Safety Cultures and Loss Control strategies into large, often multi-site organisations.
Tony Walsh, ex-Director of the Occupational Health & Safety Division, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)
“The training of our Risk Assessors has enabled us to ensure a consistent approach to developing and delivering safe working procedures for the workplace”.
Malcolm Edgerton, Training Adviser, Pilkington Glass Ltd., St Helens, Liverpool
I first became aware of David Wilson’s skills in safety training when I realised that the Somerdale site had a particular problem at that time of a rising manual handling situation
I was advised to contact his Company and he put together a programme of manual handling training, which in just fewer than 8 months practically wiped out manual handling issues at this site.
I have always found the level of customer service to be exceptional and extremely flexible, (something which helped tremendously in a Factory which runs different shift patterns) so it gives us the opportunity to be able to run plants and train at the same time,
The oasys team were and are prepared to fit into timescales, which suit the Clients needs
And always over the past nine years given us exactly what we wanted and when we wanted it.
John Warden, Safety Advisor, Cadbury Trebor Bassett

“Why do we use oasys Training & Safety Services Limited?
Hard question to answer,
‘Can’t find anyone else’ just about fits the bill!
As an engineering company employing over 600 people, health & safety is recognised as a management tool:
• To improve in-company relations;
• Ensure good morale;
• Cost benefits from reduced accidents.
It is necessary to keep up to date with changes to both legislation and of course staff, therefore regular training in health & safety is foremost in maintaining the
Company requirements.
oasys were selected from numerous training organisations because they deliver up to date, easy to follow, correctly pitched courses, that cover wide ranging aspects of health & safety – from Manual Handling to Risk Assessment, from Safety Awareness to Managing Safely in a language that both a labourer and the Managing Director can understand”
Dereck Goodall, Safety Advisor, Westwind Air Bearings, Poole, Dorset
"The Countryside Council for Wales has used the services of oasys almost from the time that they formed as a company. We insist on having a good working relationship with our training providers as we feel this to be essential in delivering training to our staff. A working knowledge of our activities is a pre-requisite. oasys went out of their way to gain this knowledge and we continue to meet with them regularly to discuss our continuing needs. This gives us precisely the level of training that we demand, delivered to a consistently high standard. As oasys are familiar with our objectives, we have used them on a consultancy basis as well - and were again rewarded with a consistently high standard of service."
Andy Begg, Health & Safety Advisor, Countryside Council for Wales

Over the past three years, we have found oasys to be very professional in their approach to health and safety training. They have supported Raflatac Ltd by providing specific training to meet our individual needs, often at short notice. The feed back we receive from the trainees at all levels has always been positive and shows that the approach they have taken in providing the training has targeted and delivered to meet our needs. I have no hesitation in recommending them to other companies or organisations”.
Steve McNamara, Health & Safety Manager, Raflatac Ltd, Scarborough
“oasys Public Training Course for Exhibitions & Events Industry
We both attended the IOSH Managing Safely course operated by oasys Training & Safety Services Limited last year and found the course extremely interesting. The knowledge we collated during our week has become vitally important to us in our profession. We know of four other employees of Wembley (London) Limited who have attended the same course as us and each one of them commented on how professional and informative the whole course proved to be.
We are so sure of the quality of information and knowledge that oasys offers; we are currently booking a further 12 members of our staff onto the IOSH Managing Safely Course for the Exhibition and Events Industry”.
Robert Jackson & Brian Berks, Safety & Security Operations, Wembley (London) Limited
At SPS our On-Site Managers and myself had particular areas of concern regarding compliance with certain elements of the HSAWA (1974).
We contacted oasys to seek their expert advice. They visited our site and conducted extensive interviews with our On-Site Managers they then created a bespoke course that addressed those specific H&S issues that were of concern. This course exceeded our expectations and has proved to be extremely popular with all our staff.
We have now been running this course for a year and it has without doubt raised the H&S awareness within the company, it now forms an integral part of our induction training.
As a result of the training program that oasys created for the company the European Health & Safety Commission awarded SPS a certificate of merit in October 2001.
Alan Law, General Manager – Show Presentation Services
