Confined Space Awareness training course

Course duration: one day

This course is suitable for Managers and Supervisors of employees who may be expected to enter confined spaces as a work activity.

The course is designed to offer managers and supervisors best advice regarding the definition and identification of confined spaces, the hazards and risks associated with entry, the suitability of the precautions and equipment, including pre-entry precautions and emergency planning.

• The Hazards & Risks Associated with Entry

• Emergency Planning & Recovery

• Risk Assessment

• Practical Exercise

• Permits to Work

On completion of the course the delegates will have knowledge and understanding of the hazards and risks associated with entry into confined spaces, the suitability of precautions and the requirements for pre-entry emergency planning.

Please note this course does not include practical entry.
