Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) training course

This course is suitable for front line managers and others who require a general knowledge of the CoSHH Regulations and the risk assessment process, including how substances enter the body and the natural defences that exist.

We recommend that anyone involved in this critical activity attend our one-day course, which will coach them through the process of planning, implementing and monitoring the CoSHH Risk Assessment process. Delegates will be offered best advice concerning when they would be at the limit of their competence and need to seek additional support.

This one-day workshop includes

• Introduction to CoSHH

• Evaluating results and selecting control strategies

• Basic Toxicology, Occupational Poisons, Routes of Entry

• Practical exercises

On completion of the course the delegates will have knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the control of substances hazardous to health regulations and the risk assessment process
