Course duration: two day
Have you carried out Risk Assessments?Have they been regularly monitored and reviewed? Many of the first Risk Assessments carried out to comply with the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992 have proved to be inadequate, primarily as a result of an inadequate review process. The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations was updated in 1999. This two-day programme takes the principles from the one-day programme and applies them to the more specific risk assessments demanded by the legislation, typically manual handling and display screen equipment. This day can be modified to suit organisational need; the client may feel that the focus should be on CoSHH, Confined Spaces or Working at Height. This course includes
On completion of the course the delegates will have knowledge and understanding of the scope and impact of the risk assessment process, including the legal requirement imposed upon the employer for the completion of suitable and sufficient risk assessments. The delegates will be able to add value to the organisational risk assessment activity As with all our training courses, this course can be tailored to suit organisational requirements. If your company has internal procedures or systems to promote, these can be complimented with reference to your own systems, which would add credibility to the training and create ownership within the company for the safety effort. |
